FutureGov Asia Pacific has reported that doctors in Sri Lanka's government hospitals will soon be able to access patients' medical records electronically.
According to FutureGov, the Hospital Health Information Management System (HHIMS), developed jointly by the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) and the Ministry of Health, stemmed from the Sri Lankan government's initiative to significantly improve service delivery to its citizens. |
