HIMSS Analytics Asia The first HIMSS Analytics Asia Annual Study gains traction across the region
HIMSS Analytics Asia, the authoritative source on EMR Adoption trends, devised the EMR Adoption Model to track EMR progress at hospitals and health systems. The EMRAM scores hospitals on their progress in completing the 8 stages to creating a paperless patient record environment. |

|
Steven Yeo, General Manager of HIMSS Analytics Asia said that the HIMSS Analytics EMR Model, which rates hospitals on a scale from 0 to 7, is garnering much interest throughout Asia. HIMSS Analytics Asia is currently collecting data in P.R.China, India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and UAE and will expand its efforts into other countries in the region over time. |
|
| |
| Liu Fan, CIO of Peking University People's Hospital commented about their participation in the HIMSS Analytics Asia study,"We are grateful that HIMSS has brought P.R.China a new way of looking at healthcare information within the hospital environment. Over recent months, the EMR model has provided us with a basis for our hospital's IT planning for future. The model's stage by stage structure provides us with a relatively clear strategy for our development. We would be pleased to collaborate with HIMSS to promote the EMR model to regional hospitals and help in China's overall development of healthcare information systems." |
