eHealth Solution Vision and Solution Introduction
This session will consider approaches to establish a foundational EHR infrastructure, and how that infrastructure can enable advanced applications for disease management, both chronic and acute. In this context we will also consider the integration of home-based health applications and devices to monitor chronic patients, delivering higher quality of care at lower cost.

He has been with GE Healthcare IT since 2006, and is currently Vice President, Global eHealth Market Development, responsible for driving visibility to regional markets and designing successful strategies for delivering innovative ehealth solutions in each market. Blair is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the eHealth Initiative, a national, non-profit ehealth organization based in Washington, DC.

Healthcare IT China Opportunities and Challenges
The China government faces a large number of health-related challenges currently. HIT is one of the key criteria to support the healthcare reform. We are working together with GE to address the meaningful use, IT infrastructure, and operation model to set up a regional healthcare collaboration system.

Healthcare IT China Local Solution and Best Practice Sharing
Healthcare IT is one of the eight pillars in China health reform. Regional health information network (RHIN) connects healthcare institutions to achieve health data continuum in the entire life cycle of the patient care. We will present a RHIN project which GE Healthcare and its partner ENN Group have been building in Luoyang, Henan province.

	Yongjian Bao, PhD Principal System Architect GE Healthcare IT, USA Yongjian Bao is an active member in many healthcare IT standard activities. He represented GE Healthcare in IHE, DICOM and HL7. He co-edited a number of IHE Integration Profiles, and contributed to many others. His major expertise in standards includes cross-enterprise clinical information sharing, patient and identity management, imaging informatics, and EHR. His has significant experience in managing the adoption of standards and achieving interoperability between various IT products, as well as cross-vendor collaborating in creation of standard-based solutions.
