The organisers of the HIMSS AsiaPac 08 Conference & Exhibition invite you to submit a proposal through the Call for Papers, opening 13 August and closing 22 October, 2007.
HIMSS, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, in association with CHIK Services, is developing this conference jointly and under the guidance of recognised leaders in e-health organizations, providers of care, and government agencies from the Asia Pacific region.
We invite you to advance the development of healthcare IT and progress in healthcare delivery in the region. We seek presentations that stimulate discussion of issues and collaborative exchanges. We highly encourage practical information from hospitals, clinics, and clinicians on their IT implementation experience and learning in the Asia Pacific region and other areas internationally.
The majority of proposals selected will be from the Asia Pacific region and reflect geographic balance within the region as well as balance between topic areas and the practical users in the region. While papers emphasising product or commercial company perspectives are highly discouraged, case studies that emphasise solutions to business issues from the perspective of healthcare IT leadership and clinicians may be considered
