Hotel Requests
Room rates do not include breakfast. The official check-in time is 1400hrs on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 1200hrs. Approval for early check in and late checkout requests is subject to availability by the hotel.
Hotel Reservation
Hotel accommodation is subject to availability. Requests received after 2 April 2007 cannot be guaranteed.
Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis. Availability of rooms in each category is limited. Rates quoted are subject to 10% service charge and the prevailing government taxes currently pegged at 1% government tax and 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST). The government has announced recently that there is going to be an increase of GST from 5% to 7% in 2007 and will be known in February 2007. Rates quoted in Singapore dollars are based on the prevailing 5% GST rate.
Accommodations reserved through Pacific World will be confirmed only if the reservation is guaranteed by credit card. To guarantee your reservation, a deposit covering the first night stay is required.
Please note Group reservations will be handled by Pacific World with separate contracts.
Confirmations
Confirmation and receipt will be sent on receipt of the housing request and payment. Please allow 3 – 5 working days for your confirmation.
(Allow up to a minimum of seven days for mailing if there is no fax number or email address indicated on your request.)
Payments
To guarantee your reservation, a deposit with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) covering the first night of your stay is required. Please indicate the participant’s name and “HIMSS AsiaPac” on ALL payments.
No purchase orders, checks or bank transfers are accepted.
Cancellations and refunds
All cancellations or modifications must be sent to Pacific World in writing (fax, letter, or email).
There will be no penalty for cancellation received on or before 19 March 2007. For cancellations received after this date, the cost of one night accommodation will be charged and no refund will be made under any circumstances. Pacific World reserves the right to charge the full stay if the hotel room cannot be re-sold.
In the event of short stay, the hotel reserves the right to charge for the FULL DURATION OF STAY as originally reserved upon check out if the hotel room cannot be re-sold.

To receive an official Letter of Invitation, please register for the conference and then email Christina Luke at cluke@himss.org. She will send you your official letter.
